Wakefield Valley Pony Club, member of the USPC Capital Region, is located in Carroll County, MD.
We are a small club, but are BIG on participation. W.V.P.C. sends teams to most rallies, and several of our members represented the region at National Championships in Kentucky in 2007. Our regional responsibility this year is to host the regions D Fun day. As a fundraiser for the club we host a Combined test at the Carroll County Equestrian Center.
Our monthly meetings are held the 2nd. Wednesday of every month. Please contact our DC for the meeting location.
We offer weekly lessons with Beth Pickett at Journey Well Farm in New Windsor. Occasionally we have visiting instructors. Unmounted horse management and veterinary knowledge lessons are included in our winter program. Clinics and camps are also offered by us or through the region.
